Warranty & Registration
We warrant all Technika products to be free from defects in material or workmanship under normal domestic use and service. All Technika products are covered under a period of warranty, for details please refer to your user manual or refer to the Warranty Details outlined below. To take advantage of any warranty issues it is important to register your products.
Registration is quick and easy. Complete the form and enjoy the added benefits and peace of mind.
You’ll need your purchase invoice as well as the Technika model and serial number handy. Find these on the rating label (a small sticker usually silver or white) that often shows key electrical specifications. It’s usually placed on the back of the appliance, on the inside of the door or on the underside for cooktops.

WARRANTY DETAILS
Manufacturer's Warranty
When you purchase a Technika appliance, you will receive a Manufacturer's Warranty from Glen Dimplex Australia, covering parts and labour for servicing within Australia.
Warranty Period:
The warranty period is outlined in the user manual that is included with your appliance.
Glen Dimplex Australia commits to the following:
- Repairing or, at its discretion, replacing, free of charge, any defective part of the Product within the warranty period. The serial number on the Product must match the warranty claim.
This warranty does not cover:
- Defects caused by factors other than normal domestic use within a residential environment or the correct use of the appliance as outlined in the Product User Manual.
- Service calls unrelated to any Product defect. If the problem is not determined to be a Product fault, a service call fee will be charged.
Examples of non-covered items:
- Adjusting the Product's installation to match the guidelines in the Product User Manual.
- Providing instructions on the correct usage of the Product.
- Resetting or replacing house fuses.
- Correcting house wiring or plumbing.
- Rectifying faults caused by the user's failure to follow the maintenance and care instructions in the User Manual.
- Noise or vibration considered normal, such as drainage/compressor/fan sounds, regeneration noises, or user warning tones.
- Damage caused by pests or vermin (e.g., rats, cockroaches, etc.).
- Consumable or perishable parts (e.g., light bulbs, filters, batteries, or similar parts).
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect the Product's operation.
- Products with removed or defaced serial numbers.
- Defects resulting from accidents, neglect, misuse, or Acts of God (e.g., storm damage, power surges, electrical storm damage, etc.).
- The cost of repairs conducted by non-authorised repairers or the cost of correcting such unauthorised repairs.
- Normal recommended maintenance and cleaning as specified in the Product's User Manual.
- Repairs performed by anyone other than a Glen Dimplex Australia Authorised Service Centre (ASC).
- Pick-up and delivery services.
- Transportation or travel costs incurred for repairs when the product is installed outside the Authorised Service Centre’s normal service area.
- Additional installation costs (e.g., plastering, caulking, modifying cabinetry, etc.).
To avail service under this manufacturer's warranty, you must contact a Glen Dimplex Australia Authorised Service Centre (ASC) during regular business hours. Remember to present the warranty certificate and proof of purchase when making a claim.
Proof of purchase is required to make a claim under this warranty.
This Warranty is an additional benefit and does not affect your legal rights.
This warranty is applicable to products sold in Australia only.
By making a warranty claim, you acknowledge and accept that Glen Dimplex Australia and its Authorised Service Centre (ASC) may exchange information about you to fulfill Glen Dimplex Australia’s obligations under this warranty.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
If the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced.
Service Warranty
When you receive a service from Glen Dimplex Australia in Australia and receive an invoice for it, you automatically receive a 12-month Service Warranty. This warranty covers the service provided and any parts used during the service of your Technika appliance.
Glen Dimplex Australia guarantees, at no cost to the owner for materials or labour, to:
- Rectify any aspect of the service on your Technika appliance or repair/replace (at its discretion) any part used during the service that is found to be defective within 12 months from the date of the service.
This Service Warranty does not cover:
- Defects caused by factors other than normal domestic use or the correct use of the appliance in accordance with the Product User Manual.
- Service calls unrelated to any issues with the original service. A service call fee will be charged if the problem is not related to the original service. For example:
- Correcting the installation of the Product to align with the Product User Manual.
- Providing instructions on the correct usage of the Product.
- Resetting or replacing house fuses.
- Correcting house wiring or plumbing.
- Rectifying faults caused by the user's failure to follow the maintenance and care instructions within the User Manual.
- Noise or vibration considered normal, such as drainage/compressor/fan sounds, regeneration noises, or user warning tones.
- Damage caused by pests or vermin (e.g., rats, cockroaches, etc.).
- Consumable or perishable parts (e.g., light bulbs, filters, batteries, or similar parts).
- Defects to the product or part caused by accidents, neglect, misuse, or Acts of God.
- The cost of repairs not carried out by Glen Dimplex Australia or its Authorised Service Centre (ASC) or the cost of correcting such repairs.
- Normal recommended maintenance as outlined in the Product's User Manual.
- Repairs when the appliance or part has been dismantled, repaired, or serviced by anyone other than Glen Dimplex Australia or its Authorised Service Centre (ASC).
- Pick-up and delivery services.
- Transportation or travel costs associated with repairs when the product or part is installed outside Glen Dimplex Australia's normal service area.
- Damage (including water damage) caused by faulty installation or plumbing not performed by Glen Dimplex Australia.
- Nothing in this Service Warranty limits your rights under the law to recover the costs of inspecting or returning goods to us.
Our products and parts are designed for normal domestic (residential) use and are not intended for commercial use. Any commercial use by a customer will void this Service Warranty.
Service under this warranty must be provided by Glen Dimplex Australia and invoiced accordingly. Such service will be provided during normal business hours. When making a claim, present this Service Warranty certificate along with proof of the original service date.
This Service Warranty is an additional benefit and does not affect your legal rights.
Applicable for services provided within Australia only.
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. In the case of major failures:
- You have the right to cancel your service contract with us.
- You are entitled to a refund for the unused portion of the service or compensation for its reduced value.
- For goods, you can choose a refund or replacement for major failures. If a failure does not amount to a major failure, we will rectify the issue within a reasonable time. If this is not achieved, you have the right to a refund for the goods and can cancel the service contract, receiving a refund for any unused portion. You are also entitled to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage resulting from a failure in the goods or service.
