Types of Cooking Modes

fan forced cookingThe fan is surrounded by a triple ring heating element that will evenly distribute heated air throughout the oven, perfect for multiple baking, where oven temperatures are required at each corner of the oven. No need to pre-heat oven.

fan assisted conventionalWith top and bottom element and fan assist air circulating, this cooking mode is best suited for bread, cakes, sponges where absolute even temperatures are required at each corner of the oven and in particular the centre of the oven. Creates less spatter when used for roasting.

bottom elementThis function uses the bottom element only. Ideal for cooking food from the bottom.

bottom element with fan assistIdeal for slow, gentle cooking such as quiches and pastries.

top grill, fan forced & bottom elementThis function is used for intense heat which allows for faster cooking.

pizzaThis function is designed to warm and crisp your pizza from the base to the top, leaving you with a pizza that tastes like it comes from Italy.

preheatThis function is designed to preheat your oven for optimal cooking temperatures and results.

half grillThis function is designed to target specific areas within the grill setting to allow for refined cooking.

oven lightWhen you turn the control knob to this position the light will be on for all the following operations. Also helpful for cleaning purposes.

conventional cookingUses both the top and bottom elements. Suitable for slow cooking and lower temperatures for fruit cakes, pavlovas, maranges etc.

infrared grilling systemAutomatically controlled for direct infrared heat radiated from above for traditional grilling. Function is best for grilling / browning the top of food.

infrared fan grilling systemUses grill element plus fan assist. Fan grill is ideal for all grilled meats, fish and even vegetables.

bottom element with fan forcedThe air is heated by the bottom element and rear element circulated by the rear fan distributing heat over the food evenly. Ideal for cooking pizzas.

top elementThis function uses the top element only. Ideal for browning the top of food.

defrostThis function allows you to fan defrost at ambient temperature without the drying out cooking effect that results with defrosting in a microwave.
